Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBC Insights?

CBC Insights aims to make decades of CBC's policy research more accessible, using AI to organize data and recommendations by topic and creating new opportunities to explore. Whether you're a journalist, a civic leader, or just a curious New Yorker, you can find what CBC has said on the issues that matter to you.

How does CBC Insights use AI?

CBC Insights uses AI to analyze CBC's full research library, categorizing each piece by topic, then synthesizing the data and recommendations across reports that address the same issue. The result is a tool that lets you explore what CBC has said about an issue over time, all in one place.

How did you check the accuracy of the pages on this website?

Our research team reviewed a sample of 10% of pages to validate the AI system's alignment with CBC's published findings. That said, AI is nondeterministic, and pages may contain inaccuracies. If you spot something that doesn't look right, please use the feedback button to let us know. We hope to continue improving the way these pages are generated.

How can I share feedback?

We'd love to hear from you. This is an experiment, and your feedback helps us make it better. You can use the feedback button on any page to let us know what's working and what's not.
